Fear has a funny way of standing between us and our greatest adventures.
During our honeymoon in Hawaii, my husband and I spent a day waterfall rappelling through the mountains. Standing at the top, I was terrified. But I couldn't help thinking of something my Aunt Beth had told us throughout childhood:
"Don't let fear be a reason not to try new things."
So I took the first step.
By the time I reached the final splash into the tropical pool below, fear had given way to pure joy. What I thought would be the most intimidating part of our honeymoon became the most unforgettable.
Trust Fall is a reminder that some of life's greatest rewards begin on the other side of fear.
