Shipping & Returns

Effective Date: August 2026

At Linen & Hue, every original painting is carefully packaged and shipped with the same care that went into creating it. Your artwork represents a meaningful story, and we want it to arrive safely and beautifully.

Shipping

Orders are processed as quickly as possible after payment is received.

  • Original artwork is professionally packaged to help ensure safe delivery.

  • Shipping timelines vary depending on artwork availability and destination.

  • Commissioned artwork will ship after the painting is completed, approved (if applicable), and the remaining balance has been paid in full.

  • Tracking information will be provided when available.

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate before placing your order. Linen & Hue is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect shipping information.

Shipping Damage

While every effort is made to package artwork securely, damage may occasionally occur during transit.

If your artwork arrives damaged:

  • Please contact Linen & Hue within 5 days of delivery.

  • Keep all original packaging.

  • Email erin@linenandhue.com with:

    • photographs of the damaged artwork,

    • photographs of the packaging,

    • and your order information.

This information is required to assist with shipping insurance claims.

Returns

Original Artwork

If you are not completely satisfied with your original painting, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible:

  • The artwork must be returned in its original condition.

  • The purchaser is responsible for return shipping unless the artwork arrived damaged or an error occurred on our part.

  • Refunds will be issued after the artwork has been safely received and inspected.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Commissioned Artwork

Because commissioned artwork is created specifically for each client, all commissioned sales are final.

The 50% deposit reserves your place on my commission schedule and is non-refundable once work has begun.

Every effort is made throughout the design process—including consultation, composition approval, and reference review—to ensure the finished painting reflects your vision before painting begins.

Lost Packages

If a shipment appears to be lost, please contact Linen & Hue as soon as possible. We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate and assist in resolving the issue.
